I was intrigued by a website that presented several great options for high quality steaks that are difficult to find locally. I was excited to try these so I ordered 5 thick cut, dry-aged strip steaks and 1 Japanese Wagyu strip steak to compare. The 5 dry-aged steaks were amazing, among the best I’ve tried, but I wrongly assumed that the Wagyu would be closer to a center cut. I received a cut that was closer to an end cut than a center. It wasn’t worth the price I paid. I’m hesitant to order this again as I can’t justify such a high price for a mediocre cut. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I viewed it as a sample, and as such, I expected it to be perfect to entice me to purchase more. I was disappointed.

Everything was great here, we preferred the American wagyu over everything. The A5 was great but didn't feel like eating steak. The dry aged arrangement allowed us to finally tell which way we actually preferred it.
