We had a wine dinner at the house this past weekend, and purchased filets and strips to serve. Everyone was truly pleased- the steaks were perfect!
Good quality
I purchased a few 16oz strip steaks, non dry aged. Steaks were at my door within a week, perfectly packaged and cold from the cooler even after letting them stay out all day while I was at work.
The steak quality was just excellent. I reverse seared and then finished them on a charcoal Weber and they turned out perfect.
Sure you pay a little more, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend for a special occasion, or just to treat yourself after a hard days work!
While the steak was flavorful, it wasn’t as tender as I’d hoped. I hate to say this, but of everything in my order: Italian sausage and hamburger, this steak was by far the most expensive and somewhat disappointing. Maybe I should try a minimally aged one next time?? I’d appreciate guidance on this.
