Pat LaFrieda Meat Purveyors is proud to offer our direct-to-home customers the same top quality American Wagyu we sell to the finest restaurants and hotels nationwide. 

Sourced from small family farms in the Pacific Northwest, the herds consist of Japanese-heritage full-blood Kuroge Washu bulls crossed with American cows, born and raised in the U.S. The resulting beef offers an incomparable eating experience, bringing the best traits of each breed: from the Japanese bulls we get the delicate fat, inherent tenderness, and intense marbling, and from the American cows we get a meaty texture and an upfront, beefy flavor.

This cattle is slow, naturally grown, for as long as 28 months, versus the 18 - 20 months that is the industry standard for dressed beef. By allowing a slower, more measured growth period, the cattle develop better muscle conformity and marbling. Pasture-raised and grain-finished cattle enjoy an all natural, growth hormone and antibiotic-free diet. 

We are offering a special introductory price on 16oz boneless ribeyes from Mishima Reserves Ultra grade, the highest they have. This translates into a Beef Marbling Score of between 8-10, which is far above USDA Prime.

INSTRUCTIONS / STORAGE
  • Steaks ship fresh, never frozen, uncooked, and with ice packs, may thaw in transit
  • When you receive your order you should immediately refrigerate all meat items
  • We recommend that you eat all meat products within 1 week of arrival for best results
  • Once items are removed from the plastic, they should be consumed within 48 hours

Worth the splurge

We grilled this the other night and my wife and I agreed it was one of the best steaks we've ever had. Marbling was great which made it ridiculously tender.
